Combining layers of prepreg tape, the compound sheets are then thermoformed into three-dimensional shapes. With the fibres of each layer in different angles, the material gains its strength at a light weight.

Inspired by the material itself, the chair consists of three shells with one visible fibre direction each. The seemingly floating appearance and toolless construction highlight the light weight and sturdiness.

Using polycarbonate as the medium allows for easier shaping and recycling compared to epoxy resins at a considerable structural strength. The thermoplastic can be molten to recover and reuse the fibres.
